Strive Sunrise Program
A Bright Start to the Day
Students may arrive at Strive beginning at 7:00 a.m., giving families access to a safe, welcoming start to the school day before instruction begins at 9:00 a.m. Breakfast and engaging morning activities give students time to connect, create, move, and prepare for the day ahead.

What Mornings Look Like
Sunrise gives children a relaxed, engaging transition into the school day with opportunities to eat, move, create, play, and spend time with friends.
Breakfast
Students can begin the morning with a free breakfast before the school day begins.
Storytelling
Read-alouds and stories give students another opportunity to enjoy books and language.
Music & Movement
Students can move, listen, participate, and start the day with energy.
Morning Makerspace
Building and creating give students time to experiment, imagine, and solve problems.
Open Gym
Physical activity gives children space to move, play, and connect with classmates.
Creative Choices
Rotating choices give students opportunities to follow their interests and ease into the day.
More Flexibility for Families
The traditional school schedule does not work for every family. Strive Sunrise allows families to drop students off beginning at 7:00 a.m. instead of having to arrange separate before-school care.
Students spend that time with the Strive community in a familiar environment before transitioning into instruction at 9:00 a.m.
Ready for the Day Ahead
Strive Sunrise is designed to give children time to connect, create, move, and prepare for the day ahead so they enter their classrooms feeling welcomed, energized, and ready to learn.
